RE: Weapons Thread
Still thinking....................................................Ah Ha! (There are no light bulb emoticons so I used the next best thing )
What about this: Instead of individual names for each knife, what about just one name for the set? Then I could use Flash or something.

Let me tell you folks, that is a deadly rifle. The Mosin-Nagant has been used as a sniper rifle besides use as an Russian infantryman's rifle and fires a bullet about .31 inches wide. That is lethal my friends!
Re: Weapons thread

RE: Weapons Thread
No offense, but I just have to say wow.
You need one to hunt anywhere outside your property. Maybe when we come to Playgroup I can bring my Virginia "Rules and Regs" as I call it book. It is basically a book they release for free each year that has the latest info on the laws, hunting seasons, etc. Just like with a driving license, where you need a learners permit before you can get your driver's license, you have to take the Hunter Safety Course to get your hunting license. My mom found a place that was doing that class some time soon, but I forget where and when. If she remembers, she can tell you at Playgroup.

RE: Weapons Thread
To take one of those behemoths down, they use rifles that have monster kick and have a huge caliber. Imagine your gun's recoil x10.
Re: Weapons thread

RE: Weapons Thread
lol, that would be horrible.
I have heard that to manage the recoil, they would rest the gun on a stake. That way, the stake takes the shock, not your poor shoulder.

RE: Weapons Thread
That pistol was like, what, .610? Man that was awesome. "BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!" Thing flies out of the guy's hand. I have heard stories of that happening with rifles too: A guy I know from Royal Rangers got to fire a .50cal survival rifle. Now, survival rifles are really small because they are designed to be part of a survival kit for pilots, etc. Anyway, the gun has massive kick, but he didn't know that. He takes aim, and fires. *BOOM!!* The rifle flies out of his hands backward, over two or three cars (My memory is awesome ) and landed unscathed. He hurt after that. The gun, on its way out, smacked him.
