RE: Chat
That was odd, the smileys didn't appear, just the code words the forum uses to know which smiley to display.
Re: Chat Room for Users
I can see them just fine

RE: Chat
Ok, I saw the smileys this time.
You guys really shouldn't make little posts like that just to raise the number of posts.

RE: Chat
Man!
Just wondering, but how come you guys can't get on vent? Its been just me and HawkBlade for awhile now. (Ok, and AgentE383 every once in awhile.)

RE: Chat
No kidding!
Well anyway, do_Field-ty is still having a few minor errors that need ironing out, but it looks like it will be released on or soon before AgentE383's birthday. I changed the loading music to some music from the Battlefield 2 mod Point of Existence and I will be adding music that plays when you are about to win or about to lose. I will also be releasing a strategy guide that will be based on observations of Bot players that I battled with during testing.
Have fun and watch the enemy TA strikes

Attention Members!
As of right now, all members, admins, and moderators may add file attachments!
There are some rules and regulations concerning this new feature so please read carefully as you don't want to screw up your attachments by doing something wrong.
1. File types supported.
Strike Trooper and Shayla, you guys are in luck. The file attachments that are allowed do contain Macintosh file formats. File attachments that are supported:
(a "*" in front of a file extension means that the file name does not matter.)
Picture attachments: *.bmp, *.png, *.jpg (and *.jpeg I think), *.gif, and *.tif
Sound/Music attachments: *.mp3, *.m4a, and *.wma
Video attachments: *.mp4, *.mov, *.m4v, *.mpg, *.3gp, *.3g2, and *.wmv
Document attachments: *.txt, *.doc, *.docm, *.docx, *.pps, *.ppt, *.pptm, *.pptx, *.xls, *.xlsb, *.xlsm, *.xlsx, and *.pdf
Miscelanious attachments: *.zip and *.swf
2. Space Requirements
Space is limited here on the forum so you can't attach anything bigger than 15MB and we only have 20MB for storage so it HAS to be small. If it is too big, you can use WinZip, WinRAR, or any program that allows you to compress files into *.zip files to compact it. If it is still to big, then you'll have to forget it. Also, you can attach up to 5 files in one post. We admins will be deleting file attachments when we hit about 15MB in our storage limit so if you want a file to be seen quickly (or if the file is kinda big) then post a notice that you will be posting the file at some time and date about a day or so ahead of when you will actually post the file.
3. Picture Limitations
To make matters worse, there are specific requirements for pictures. Thumbnail Previews have been enabled for pictures that are being posted and the thumbnail can be no bigger than 150X150 pixels. The actual picture itself cannot be bigger than 4096X4096 pixels. We can turn off Thumbnails if they are getting annoying so if you want the Thumbnails turned off: Post here to say the Thumbnail Preview should be disabled. Then other members (even moderators and admins) should also post to say whether or not they want the Thumbnail Preview. If the majority of users want the Thumbnail viewer off, then it gets shut off. If not, it stays.
Ok, these are the rules governing the File Attachments feature. If you can't remember what you can and can't do, just go to this post and you can find out all you need. If you still have questions, you can post here or talk to me (SniperInYourMidst) on Ventrilo. I will be instructing AgentE383 in the workings of File Attachments but until then, I'm the only one who can mess with File Attachments. (It helps to have been the one to set it up ) Have fun with it!

In case you missed it HawkBlade, that text was actually a link to a YouTube video that had ICWOW with lyrics. Put your mouse over it and it will change color. That is how you know it is a link.

RE: Chat
Yeah.
Just to let you guys know, it is looking like I will not be able to use any music I have because of stinking (and yet very helpful) copyright laws. I will be making sure that I can use the music I have selected, but no promises.
